FORUM8 Rally Japan 2026 is the Japanese round of the world’s premier rally series. The event is a motorsport competition held on multiple closed public-road stages, where crews compete for the fastest overall time. The Opening Ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 28, at the Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium grounds. (Advance registration required; admission is free.)

How to Apply

After the drawing, winners will receive their prizes from the event office. Drawing and shipping will take place in June (early summer) and November (autumn).

Are there any requirements to participate?

Anyone can participate by scanning the QR code posted at each spot with a smartphone.

Is it free to join?

Participation is free! Please note that transportation and food costs are your own responsibility.

What should I do if the QR code won’t scan?

Please update your smartphone’s camera app or QR code reader to the latest version. If you still can’t scan it, please contact the on-site staff.

Where can I receive my prize?

Prizes will be shipped only to winners. However, for international visitors, prizes will be handed out directly within a limited period. Please note that only winners will be notified.

What languages are supported?

When you scan the QR code, information is displayed in both Japanese and English.

Important Notes and Terms of Participation

By participating in the “なごや全力応援!まちめぐりラリー” (hereinafter referred to as “the Event”), please be sure to read the following terms and conditions. Your participation in the Event shall be deemed as your agreement to the following terms.

1. About Participation
  • Anyone with a smartphone may participate in the Event. However, minors must obtain consent from a parent or guardian before participating.
  • The organizer assumes no responsibility for any issues caused by smartphone settings or app malfunctions when scanning QR codes.
2. Earning Stamps and Redeeming Prizes
  • Stamps can be collected by scanning QR codes. Stamps are added only when QR codes installed at designated spots are scanned.
  • Once you have collected two stamps, you can enter the prize drawing. Prizes will be sent to winners selected by lottery.
3. Safety
  • As this Event requires traveling within the city, please follow all traffic rules and refrain from using your smartphone while walking or any actions that may reduce awareness of your surroundings.
  • When using public transportation or facilities, please be considerate of other users and avoid causing any inconvenience.
4. Handling of Personal Information

Personal information collected during the Event (such as stamp earning history) will only be used within the scope necessary for operating and improving the Event. For more details, please review the Privacy Policy on the official website.

5. Prohibited Actions

The following actions are strictly prohibited. If any violation is confirmed, stamps may be invalidated or participation in the Event may be denied.

  • Scanning QR codes through fraudulent means
  • Earning stamps by impersonating another person
  • Any nuisance or harmful behavior toward the organizer or other participants
6. Disclaimer
  • The organizer assumes no responsibility for any accidents, injuries, loss or damage of smartphones, or communication fees incurred during participation in the Event.
  • The Event may be canceled or modified without prior notice due to weather conditions or other unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, no compensation will be provided for participation costs or transportation expenses.
